Engine thread search.

Good Morrning All,

I am trying to help out a friend with a 351W engine problem. He is having a problem with thinning out the oil with fuel indicating an excessively rich condition, he is also reading a low oil pressure reading of about 25 PSI at idle and not changing much through the RPM range which I find interesting. I remember earlier this year about someone here posting some of the same problems observed by my friend. If I remember correctly the person here had a new engine (same as my friend) and it spun a bearing and ended up going back on the engine builder for a rebuild. My specific question is does anyone remember this message thread and can you tell me where it is?

Thank you.

John

I found it!

I found what I was looking for originally posted by Gerry A. on july 5, 2003 and was titled "I hope they fix it but...".

John
