Demon carb tuning question

I've called Barry Grant techs twice on this issue and got two different answers. Here's the deal. I'm running a Mighty Demon, dual squirt, mechanical secondaries carb on my Windsor stroker. It idles great, throttle response is superb, runs great throughout the RPM range. My only issue is that when I come to a stop, the RPMs drop almost to a stall until the car comes to a stop where the idle jumps to normal. Doesn't this sound like a float issue? BG recommends that the fuel level in the bowls should be in the center of the windows. Mine is set at the bottom edge of the window. One tech said the butterflies needed adjusting. The other said to raise the fuel level in the bowls. I don't want to screw with this thing in the wrong way. Any advise?

Tony-
I'm by no means an expert (see my other thread about carbs on a 428), but it does sound like a float problem. Why don't you raise the float level a bit and take it for a test drive and see what that does? It's easy to do, can't do any harm and you can always reset it to where it was without any trouble.

Raise the float level to at least half way in the sight glasses. You may need it a little higher on the primery floats.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I would then follow flipper 35 advise and talk to Don at the site he suggested.
