After years of exhaustive research and debating 427 over 351, I finally made a decision...
I bought a car used and THEN I looked under the hood... It had a 351 W in it..(that was my exhaustive research)....
Turned out to be a very nice engine for the car... Actually, it's a 289FIA so it's fits nicely...
Sometimes it's true, Ignorance is bliss..

Weight, parts availability, driveability and price. The awful truth is that until I open the top nobody can tell it's a Windsor. Most don't even know after they see it. Most owners have far more power than they need at the cost of everyday driving.

If I had it to over again I would still get the Windsor. If Bob Santilli had sold me his 427SO ERA 4 years ago I would be very happy with that car also.
