Girling Hydraulic Clutch
Well gents, I have established that I do not have a hydraulic t/o bearing. After about four hours of fumbling, I managed to get to my clutch master cylinder. Seems that it is located conveniently under the left fender. I took the plastic top off and found that the reservoir is low on fluid. Looked on the cap to find out what fluid it took but, it did not say. The unit is a girling and on the cap it says 7447. On the reservoir body, it says V1. Anyone got a clue what kind of brake fluid it would take. The two brake reservoirs say Dot 3. I wonder if the clutch unit would take the same? Any help is appreciated.

Any DOT 3 fluid would be fine.
