Coolant Expansion Tank
Not sure when we fill up the expansion tank on a 427SO with coolant ....
How full do you fill the expansion tank?? Just over the hole in the tank so you can see the coolant moving .... or up to the top..... just not sure what the standard operating procedure us.... Morris |

my tanks have a plate with a hole in it. That plate is about an inch and a half below the filler neck. I fill it to just over that plate, or about an inch and half below the filler neck/cap. |
I recall several posts about this in the past so you may want to search on it.

I guessed right.... filled it until I could see it running by and then added a little more.... Your right...You got me..... How do I do a search.... |

Thanks.... the thread was just what we needed.... Now I know how to search.... which is even better because I've been going back a page at a time..... worked my way up to 150 or so pages..... |
