Holley Carbs - 4150 Classic Series

1 Attachment(s)
I have recently replaced my Edelbrock 1450's with a pair of Classic Series 4150 Holley's. I'm amazed at the extraordinary tension of the primary return springs. I am currently planning to beef up the mechanical accelerator linkage on my car to be able to overcome the spring tension on the primaries. This may not be a problem with a single carb application but the duals are quite a pull. I’m used to the easy operation of the Edelbrocks. Any one else have experience or suggestions. (My experience contacting Holley has been frustrating). - Geary

It would help if the picture was from the other side, the side that has the throttle return springs visible.

Do you really need electric chokes on your dual quad setup?
