recommended tire sizes please for 18 x 9's
i recently purchased 18 x 9 FR500 rims and would like tire size and make recommendations. i currently building a ffr mk II kit with a mild 302. but, i hope in the near future to upgrade to a 351-408 stroker.

I believe the max tire a 18x9 inch rim can support is a 275 series (10.8 inches). Check on www.tirerack.com under every tire they have a "specs" button. The spec sheet will tell you the rim range. It will also give you the height, section width and tread width. |
