Lucas
My license plate lamp burned out as I was removing it I dropped it on to the floor and it shattered. There are no markings on the end pieces.
Anyone no what type of bulb this is? Amp/watt and/or model or ref # It is a Lucas lamp assembly--bulb was sort of torpedo shaped. |
This is a 3022 bulb, also used for dome lights:

Thanks--the 3022 is the bulb that fit--we have one auto parts store here a Napa, if it isn't in their book they are clueless, I asked them about the part#, ding-dong couldn't find it, maybe we could special order it---I finally asked the to guy let me see the book--found it in about 5 min--under Lucas for Mg, Triumph, Austin ,Mini, Big 3 used the same bulb as dome lights--A stock item. No these ding-dongs can't find their rearends if it isn't in"the book"---I just didn't feel like driving 60 mi RT for a .99cent bulb.
