Electric Fuel Pump Return Line
What’s the deal with a return fuel line when using an electric fuel pump? When do you need one and when don’t you need one? I hear the school bell ringing! Time for class!

You did not say what kind of fuel system you are using. If you are going carb you do not need a return line for a standard electric fuel pump. Some fuel injected cars use a return line as do standard mech pumps if heat is an issue.

Some do
my BG220 electric fuel pump utilizes a -08AN feed line and a -10AN return line from the 650 speed demon. I think it depends on the flow potential of the pump. 220 gallons per hour in this case.
