ignition set up

i recently took a 302 out of a 1991 mustang gt for my FFR kit. I will be installing a 347 stroker kit soon. i am also changing from EFI to a holley 750 (vac secondary style) and edel performer intake. i havent made a final choice on heads yet. im stuck on gt-40 cast irons or paying the extra $$$ for TFS heads. but anyway i hope this is enough info for my question.
can anyone recommend a complete ignition kit or help me put one togather piece by piece. (distributor, coil, control unit etc...)

i see an MSD kit on summit for 200 and another for 250 - whats the difference between a 6A and 6AL
thanks for the help guys

The 6AL has revlimiter chips for different "redline" to prevent overevving your engine---for $50 more it could save your engine if you missed a shift or wrapped it up too far before upshifting. The different limiter chips are available from MSD. Cheap insurance.
The 6A will cut out ignition to a point but not as effectively as the 6AL.

Also go with the MSD Billet distributor. I have a 289 with all MSD ignition, 6AL, Blaster coil, billet distributor, MSD plug wires---works great

Also take a look at the MSD Digital 6. It has built in rev limiters and a 20 degree start retard.
