Elec. Fuel Pump placement

I am about to mount my Holly elec. fuel pump.
Frount or rear?

TerribleTed13 03-06-2004 08:19 AM

Roy, mount it at the rear and as low as possible. Fuel pumps push well but dont suck very good. I run both electric and manual pumps, breakdown insurance.;)

Thanks Ted,

Are you using rubber or metal fuel line?

TerribleTed13 03-06-2004 08:38 AM

Fuel line type

I'm useing both, rubber, flex line at the tank to steel line up the frame then back to rubber at the engine. All 3/8 inch lines. In colorado we have very poor gas quallity, boils easy. I'm thinking about 1/2 inch supply line and use the 3/8 for a return line.
