flywheel/balancer question
I am installing a 1969 351W into my cobra that has a t-5 and an aluminum bellhousing from a late-model mustang. The windsor was in a car with a toploader tranny, with a stock flywheel and balancer.
If I just change over my flywheel and balancer, to the later model 28oz type, will I be OK? Or will this mess with the engine's balancing somehow. I know that my T-5 is wimpy. I am specifically looking for information on fit and balance. Thanks! |
Most all early 351 Windsors were 28 oz. balance. If all the internal engine parts are stock it should fit and work fine. Hope this helps
