How Manay rivets to mount the hood?
 
Are we really suppost to have 30+ rivets to install the hood? Most of the cars I've seen have been about half that number. I need to put rivets in my hood so before I start drilling whated to check.

I think this is the correct pattern, but Computerworks opinion reigns supreme. :D

The correct number of rivets on the hood depended on how many rivets were on hand!

16 - Assuming that the ERA guidelines are correct. I just drilled my hood per their instructions two weeks ago - it looks good even without the rivets if you can visualize them!:D

This is the diagram I used. I also did not use rivets but stainless button heads. Much nicer and you don't crush the glass.
