Durango A/C question

Is there a filter in the vent for the A/C in newer cars that will plug up and not let the air flow as well? Something like a hepa filter? If so, where would I find it? Our Durango doesn't seem to blow as much air as it should and a friend with a minivan had to have their filter replaced and they said it made a world of difference.
