Anyone using an MSD Pro-Power coil?

I have an MSD Digital 6 and MSD HVC coil. I think I might be blowing the spark out, and I'd like the try the MSD Pro-Power coil. It's listed as "Racing use only" - like most parts, but I'm just wondering if they are OK to use for extended use..

Any ideas? Thanks !

Craig

Just be sure the coil and box are compatible to avoid overheating of the electrical components. It's spelled out pretty well on their website.

Thanks Rick. The Pro-Power won't want to play with my Digi6. I got an email back from MSD saying:

" The 6 series ignitions will not with any of the Pro Power coils. They need much more voltage to operate properly than what the unit can supply. This will cause an excessive draw on the capacitor which can cause it to fail. You will need to use a blaster series coil."

I'm glad they replied to my email so quickly, but isn't it an admission that their Digi 6 isn't worth a damn compared to an MSD 7AL?
