HELP!! Part Throttle Stumble

Hey Cobra guys, HELP!
As I reach 2500 RPM in first gear the engine acts like you let off the throttle for a split second and then picks up and runs great. This seems to happen only in first gear and only at 2500 RPM. The other day I was making a left hand turn and when I reached 2500 RPM in first gear the stumble seemed more noticeable than when in a straight line.
I have a 418 ci SBF with a 750 Holley DP with mech secondaries. I have a 2.5 power valve with #66 jets in the primaries. The float levels are down a bit from sloshing out but just barely. The ignition is a MSD 6AL with an MSD distributor! Any ideas?
A "Knowlegeable" friend said it felt like an electrical problem but I just do not know where to start.
