overflow tank??
does anyone make a overflow tank for a 302 efi engine?

I went to my local parts store and got an aftermarket plastic tank. I have it mounted to the left fender well and it works fine. Harvey |
Mine has the surge tank but then has a overflow or coolant recovery tank. It is a bicycle water bottle .One quart. The bracket is clamped to cross member.Bottle can be removed easily.It's mounted directly under sirge tank vent tube Less than six inches below .I have a length of reinforced urithane hose . It goes dirrectly into the top of the bottle and extends to the bottom.Bottle and hose are transparent to track flow and levels. With a double sealed cap on the surge tank it will pull coolant back when cool keeping system full of coolant and not air.
