Help! Cant push pedal in....
I'm almost ready to take my first "go-cart" ride in my in Factory Five. Engine just had its first start earlier this week.
Just happen to set my seat in place tonight to permanently locate my Russ Thompson gas pedal. I sat in the seat to see how the pedals felt where they were. Went to push the clutch in and it was like pushing against a wall. Couldnt budge it at all and stopped pretty quickly since something is obviously wrong. When i first installed the clutch cable i tested it out and it seemed fine. Good travel and normal pedal feel. I checked the cable and it wasnt getting hung up on anything. Only thing i have done since that test is fill the trans with fluid and briefly run the motor for about 30 seconds. Is it possible i installed the clutch disc backwards? Even if i did, why did it work before and now nothing?? Any ideas on this? I have a bad feeling the trans is coming out.... |
