Barry Grant diaphram adjustable fuel log

Any body have any experiance with the Barry Grant # 170031 diaphram adjustable fuel log?I turned mine around so that the regulater was to the rear. It's feeding two 4160 single feed Holleys .I had two SS tubes made to keep the log out of the way and parrallel with the valve cover. The problem is that I used one of the two ports under the regulater (either side ) as supply and the one out the (now )back inline with the log as a return. The one diagram that I found on their website shows fuel being supplied from the end of the log opposite the regulater, and the rear ward facing port is labled as to pressure gauge.Have I switched the supply and return hoses? would the gauge port and the fuel log be common? I'd like to not have to build another line to take fuel from the rear of the engine to the front of the fuel log. I understand as they show it fuel would be constantly flowing and that is great but clearance and routing is a problem.

Sorry to bother all of you .I ended up swaping the supply and return lines .The fittinng out the back is common with the log ,Pressure gauge .the two under the regulater are return.Ended having a hose built with a tight 180° #10 hose end to run line along fuel log . Covered everything with heat sheilding and wire tied it up tight. The fitting at the gauge port (out the back) is SS #8 AN O-ring male to 3/8"npt female right angle.$55,Came from Ohio I hate small brass dangely fittings waiting to break, especially with gasoline.
