Brake help
I am in the process of running brake lines and have a question. I am using all stainless steel flex lines throught out. I am running a Ford Power Booster Master Cylinder and using a Welwood Adjustable Proportioning valve. Do I also need to use the other style proportioning valve that takes one feed from the MC and feeds two lines out to the front brakes and one line out to the rear brakes. I am running 4 wheel disc brakes. Thanks, and please mke it in the form of "Brakes for Dummies 101".

Earl, you just need one proportioning valve....that splits the front and rears....
You just have one master cylinder? I guess so since you're using power brakes. Anyway, you should have a line coming out of your master cylinder goin to the proportioning valve....then the valve will let you split between the front lines and the rear lines. Each line coming out of the proportioning valve will just need a tee that will allow a separate line to go to each caliper. Make sense?
