Side Pipes

I pulled my side pipes off to clean up some rust spots and repaint with a high heat ceramic paint--the good news! The bad news?
I can't get mey hammy hands into the opening to replace the 3 washers and nuts in the upper right hand corner of the exhaust flange. Any ideas?

Frank,

I am not sure just how much room you have, but I am guessing that you managed to get a wrench in there to take them off. What I have did in that type situation is take the washer and put something on it that will stick to the place I want it. Normally have the bolt or something stuck through the hole to make sure it is lined up. Then the same with the nut and hold itas I turn the bolt until it is started on the threads. Then I can put the wrench up there and hold it while I tighten it. I have used everyting to do this from a piece of wood to long nose pliers depending on hohw far I have to reach. For the washer all you have to do is have something that will hold it while you get the nut started, so it doesn't have to be glue.

Ron
