Recommendation needed for db meter
Does anyone have any experience with a moderately priced db meter?

Not sure if mine is the same part number, but I have a Radio Shack db meter with digital readout that I have used for years to dial in my surround sound system. I have been very pleased with it. I haven't cross checked it with anything else to validate how accurate it is, but seems like good bang for the buck to me.

I have one made by Extech model 407727. It was around $75. It has settings for both A and C frequency and also has a max. recorded setting. I bought it over the net...can't remember the company but I ordered it one day and it was delivered two days later.

My db meter is the crotchety old lady down the street. Upon returning home, if there are police vehicles parked in front of my house, I have a feeling that my latest performance was too loud. :D
