Free Harness Stickers
I have a couple of stickers that I believe were originally fitted to Shelby Mustangs. They are black on a gold background and read "SEAT BELTS MUST BE WORN IN CONJUNCTION WITH SHOULDER HARNESS" They are new and unused and came from Tony Branda I think.
Anyway, I will send them free to anyone who can send me the following: Quantity 6, 2BA by 1" (min) raised head countersunk machine screw in s/s (preferable) or chrome on brass. Raised countersunk are also known as oval head I believe. |

What are the screws to be used for. (sorry about ending this sentence with a preposition). I have several but the 2BA is a size I haven't came across. I have metric and std at home I have used on Compomotive wheels, Husrst shifter, windshield, etc. |
The Le Mans style flip top filler cap screws onto a cast ally flange with a 3.5" bsp thread. This cast flange in turn bolts with a circle of six machine screws to another flange in mild steel to which the flexible coupling from the tank filler attaches.
BA is short for British Association Standard Thread and was the recommended thread for fasteners less than 1/4" before metric came along. 2BA has a major diameter 4.7mm and approx 31.4 tpi. The thread angle is 47.5. The steel flange has captive nuts that I don't really want to change. |
