B&B shoulder harness
 
I have a B&B that I bought that only has lap belts. I want to add shoulder harnesses and am wondering where they should bolt up. I do not want them coming off a roll bar support. Any help out there.

I bought a bracket from Finish line that attaches to the bar at the base. it's height is adjustable. the eye bolt locations are arranged by spacers. It has two eyes. I have mine set just high enough so that the belts are only slightly lower than your shoulders .If it too low when you break hard the belt will try to compress you.If it is higher than your shoulders it will let you come up off the seat.If you are running a traditional cobra seat your back is not supported above your shoulder blades .Id look at another seat if you're thinking about needing real good shoulder belts.I now know what I should have known before I spent my money.

I respect those that are concerned about spine compression. After much deliberation, I placed mine so that the straps run between the lip of the body above the seat and the tub of the cab behind the seats. They then attach to the steel support that runs along the width of the body that attach the trunk lid. That gives a wide footprint for the straps to comfortably go over the shoulders. Note: This steel bar is supported by the fiberglass body, but the entire rear end would have to shear away. A better method would be to weld a steel beam across your roll bar below the body, and go to the frame on the passenger side for a wide distribution. I did not do that before permanently mounting my body to the frame. In retrospect I probably would have.

Thanks for the input, I'll have to pull the trunk apart and take a close look. The frame is powder coated so additional welding is out.
