efi ?s

Just Bought a 1995 351w roller efi out of a ford van .
here are some ?s

1.What is the stock hp on this model ?

2.Does the Dual Thottle body work better than the single ?

3.Will the EEC4 computor work ok with this system ?

4.Can I swap upper intakes with this system to a 5.0 ?

5.Any pros and cons to this set up ?

Looking to put this set up in my cobra since I had to sell my 392w FFR due to Medical reasons .
90 % of Efi parts are here so it may not be a bad idea ?

Thanks Tony

1. 200hp, 300ftlbs torque

2. Dual throttle body won't work with a 5.0 type intake. No way the truck/van intake will fit under the hood, and unless you want to stay with the 200 hp number you want to ditch it anyway.

3. Use a '89 or newer Mustang computer. The Mustang setup is Mass-air, sequential fire system. The van computer is a speed density, bank-fire system.

4. You can swap intakes to a 5.0 style 351W intake. To fit under the hood, the options are very limited - GT-40, Trick Flow, and Spyder are about it.

5. The van setup is a bank-fire, speed density system. Not very efficient and will not respond well to modifications. So it may be 90% there, but you'll end up throwing most of it away anyway.

If I had to do it all over again, here's what I'd go with - http://www.mass-floefi.com/

Well Thanks you have been very helpful .I think the best thing for me to do is carb the engine . Since $ are a big factor at the time .
