Sway Bar for Contemporary Cobra

I have the original front sway bar on my Contemporary (1986) Does anyone make a heavy duty replacement or will I need to have it custom fabricated?

Thanks

Ted,

The Contemporary front swaybar is wider than the original XKE. During the build it is heated and re-bent to the proper width. So there is some "custom" to even the one you have. Larger bars can be found at http://www.classicjaguar.com/swaybar.html.

Thank you. Any opinion on whether a stiffer sway bar and or torsion bars would be most effective in controlling lean?

Ted,
I am going to have new swaybars made this winter for my Contemporary.
Speedway engineering can make anything you want in swaybars.

Ted I wish we had more racers with the Torsion Bar Contemporary's. It would be a lot cheaper to follow their advise. Now it's just trial and error.

Good luck,

Thank you!

Unfortunately I am not sure how to specify. I only use the car on the street. We have some great country roads in this part of Virginia. Unfortunately they are not as flat as a track. So, I wish to corner flatter, often on a crownwd road. Also, I am comparing the handling characteristics to my Boxter. The Cobra is scary.
