Electric heat ????
Hi,
Is it possible to use an electric heating element/with blower to heat your car or act as a defroster or will it draw too much electricity? It was just a thought. |
How much heat does a 100W incandescent bulb throw? You'd probably need 500W just for a reasonable defroster. That's about 40 amps draw - OK for short bursts but you'd better have a 100A alternator for slow traffic (and that's just for defrost).
Put a couple of the elements from these cheapies together... |
