I don't pay much attention to my trip odometer, but my actual odometer is pretty darned close.
I've checked it against radar and mile markers both, and it's within 5MPH and 10% on mileage. Close enough - it's a Cobra. |

If its a Smiths the trip Odometer feeds the Odometer. Notice there is no tenths on the Odometer, cause the trip Ometer has it. GWC |

My MPH is right on, that does not mean your Odo is right on. My speedometer MPH is right on the money, my Odo is 50% off. The Odometer and speedometer have no relation. The Odo is fixed, and can only be changed by number of teeth. Speedometer is magnetic driven and can be calibrated. GWC |
