Gasket matching???
Someone splain this to me please?? I get the drift of why, but , do you buy the gaskets and make the holes match the flow areas or do you take the heads/intake models and order specific gaskets??? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Earl, I believe most folks match the heads to the gaskets (if that's what your asking), I use a die grinder with sandpaper wheels.

If you buy aftermarket heads, they are usually matched to a certain gasket, then you match your intake to the same gasket. For instance, the AFR heads I have were matched to a Fel-Pro 1206 gasket, I then had the intake matched to that gasket.
