trans cooler location ???

Hi ya'll
Anyone running auto trans. Where's a good location to run trans cooler. I'm using FHP30 Fluidyne radiator, original style and mounting. Is front of radiator my only choice??? or can I use a frame mount, street rod type???
Thanks
Dave

I've got a round one mounted to the frame, just about across from where the shifter is located.

Fluidyne and B&M both have coolers with fans mounted on the cooler....

We have the trans cooler mounted Horizontally under the drive shaft ...

The rear-end cooler is mounted up in the LR fender .....

The fan makes it not have to be in the Air stream....

There are several places that sell coolers that you mount on the frame rail. Example: http://www.streetrodstuff.com/Products/100/
