Johnex Cobra Kit

I just purchased a Johnex frame and body. The former owner had it for 4 years and did nothing with it and I suspect it sat around for a while before that as the frame is rusty and Im not sure whether all the parts are there! I don't even have a diagram or instructions!
My questions are where can I get assembly instructions/diagrams so that I can assess what is missing and where can I find Johnex parts???

I may be wrong. but I "think" that there is a forum thread somewhere here that I remember seeing that this company is out of business.

Do some searching on this site, see if it shows up......

Hi Brian

Johnex is still in business under new ownership and name. Here is a link to their sight.

There is quite a Johnex group in Toronto. I'm sure that they can be of help.

There is a Canadian cobra club at cobraclubca@yahoogroups.com They can be of some help as well.

Hope this helps.

Thanx cobra427mnsi!!

I will check with them to see if they can help me. The web site looks promising and they are only about an hour and a half from here! Bonus!!

Brian

I bought my Johnex kit in 1999 and at that time they did not have any instruction manual. All I got were a few photo copies mainly dealing with the wiring. However, I was able to ask them how certain thing worked and they were very good at helping me to understand how the car was put together.

Visit the new Johnex and look at the car(s) they have partially assembled and you will quickly understand what goes where. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask for my help at wmaybury@ca.inter.net as I assembled the car myself and still remember how most things work.

Regards,
Wayne

Wayne!!

Thank you for your reply! I'm about an hour and a half from Niagara Falls so I will have to go down and have a look at their set up and eye-ball their cars under construction. If I have any questions (and there probably will be lots of those), I'll take you up on your offer!

Thanx!!
Brian
