The website looks very professional. If it's not a scam, it'll be interesting to see the caliber of car that enter. Probably more concern is the caliber of DRIVER. The website states:
"100 super cars - 200 skilled drivers"......

then goes on to say:
"You must be at least 21 years of age and carry a valid driver's license to participate"

Skilled indeed !

Don't let the slick web site (it's what they do) fool you....If you do a search of the Gumball 3000, you'll find these guys have a checked past. Originally wanted to run here in the states "over 20% of our route without speed limits and on private roads" from LA to Florida some time ago.....Did not turn out well for them at all, in fact, they don't even mention their US "race" at all anywhere on their web site. Take a close look at their new "routes" as well.............

Just an FYI, nothing more.

I didn't read this one, but they usually say that they have the right to cancel at any time. Entry fee is NON REFUNDABLE!

"The organizer also reserves the right to cancel any event at any time for any reason. No refunds will be made in this case. "

I read it this time

Not only no refund for a cancelled event.

They can alos disqualify ANY BODY for ANY REASON at their discretion and NO REFUND also applies in that case.

You got to be kidding? These guys are looking for suckers, pure and simple. NO way I'd give up $30K without a gaurentee of my money if the event doesn't come off. You would have to be crazy to sign up for this thing!
