Smaller Mechanical Fuel Pump

Hi,

Doe anyone know if there are different size mechanical fuel pumps for a chevy 350. I have some clearance issues so smaller would be better in this case at least.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

SBC fuel pumps are all pretty much the same diameter. Why not just put an electric one on??

I had a clearance problem when lowering my engine. This pump solved it.

That looks like it will work but as suspected it will cost ya!

Thanks for the post.

I saw this today in Circle Track Magazine, in the ad they state that the Ford item will be available soon. Suggested retail for the Chevy unit is $279.00. It requires a pressure regulator for sure. It's a great example of thinking outside of the box, remains to be seen if it will be accepted in racing circles.
