Holley Red Leak
 
Hi,

I have an electric Holley red fuel pump installed. It only has a few thousnd miles on it. It appears to be leaking. It looks like the leak is happening where the electric motor housing meets the pump housing.

Has anyone has a similar problem. Is it a simple fix, A gasket??

I have searched around and I think I heard more bad than good about the red pump.

'Can't tell you how to fix the leak, but I can tell you that I wound up removing my red Holley pump...too loud. Both Carter and the new Edelbrock electric pump are quieter pumps. At least now I don't hear it with the motor running. Is the red pump under warranty?

I agree it is too loud! I have been unhappy with it since day 1! I have to check my paperwork but I believe it is out of warranty.
