I know this is anal, but .....
What color white were the footboxes on the original 427 CSX 3000 series cars. I want to redo my footbox tops the same color. Anybody know?

The color of my reference car looks between refrigerator white and Wimbleton white but, considering that the footboxes have been expose to exhaust heat for almost 40 years, I suspect that refrigerator white is closer to original.

Thanks. I know the question sounded dumb, but alot of the pics I've seens show the white as slightly yellowing and I wondered if this was age and grime or the original color.

Wimbleton White has quite a bit of yellow in it and we have always used that on the original cars as it is quite close to all of those that I have seen.

navajo white
the closest you'll come to the original white is navajo (am i spelling this right?) white. i learned this from the cobra guru himself, lynn park.
