Inner fiberglass Body Tub attaching?
Good Day;If I had a Bare Contemporary Body without the inner Body tub...How hard would it be to "Bond - Fiberglass one of those in?, and would anyone out have tried this?, as you may know - I am trying to find a Contemporary Body for my Frame and if the Kind Folks at FFR produce a Outer shell for me, I will have to find a Inner Tub that will work ( Any Ideas?) and attach it to the body. I am a mechanic at heart and even the thought of working with fiberglass makes me ichy....But I with suffer through it if I have to.Thankyou for reading this and I appreciate your ideas and expertise!...Take care...Mike

Have you looked at the Hurricane fiberglass tub? I looks like it might be able to be modified to fit one of the Contemporary bodies with a little work. Check if they will sell you a tub only. At least this way you wouldn't have to start from scratch.

The fiberglass part is very easy and just wear long sleves and some latex gloves and you will be fine. Rough everything up with 80 grit sandpaper before glassing and you will be happy with your results.
