Removing Bumperettes
Help
I've tried every kind of 3/4" wrench and cannot remove bumperettes. Tried standard an short closed end, deep offset closed end and crow's foot. Does anyone make a special tool? If not, I'll have to bend up a few different wrenches because a box end will not go over the nut on some because the bumperettes are moved to one side and the bumperette interferes with the wrench. Help! Warren :confused: |
Try unbolting from the other end and remove the whole thing from the car first. Can you get to the nut on the end of the post?

Even if I could unbolt the struts inside the engine compartment and pull out the whole thing, I'd still have the same problem. The body is not a problem.
I cannot find a wrench that will fit onto the nut. Thanks Warren |
