Brake line brackets
I've seen a number of postings on both forums for brake line installations and I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for stainless steel 90 deg (L-shaped) brackets to mount tees and bulkhead fittings. I've seen the pics but don't know the supplier, or are they homemade?
Hoping someone knows. Greg |
Pegasus Auto Racing sells a nice anodized aluminum one with fittings for hardline to braided stainless for 12.99 each. It is on page 79 of their catalog, part number 4651 and called a 3AN to 42 deg Inverted Flare Adapter with Frame Tab.

Thanks Roscoe, but it appears that it is a unplated steel bracket, while I'm looking for a stainless steel or aluminum bracket (one I can polish for looks). I'll keep looking but probably make my own. Thanks anyways - neat catalogue.

I found small brackets that work great and free, when you see one of the phone company vans, ask the fella if he has any of the small brackets that secure the phone line to the outside of your house, perfect for brake lines and galvanized, I painted mine black, he will probably give you a handfull, the fella talked to did...............

Greg,
You are correct. The mounting plate is steel and the fitting is anodized aluminum. http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Images/M/4651.JPG Here is the link to the catalog http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Pro...asp?RecId=2915 Roscoe |
Found some nice ss brackets in an aircraft hardware supply catalogue. I'll update when I see them in person.
