Smith gauges ?

Smith gauges ?
After reading a bunch of posts im getting a feeling Smith Gauges are not favored. I have Smith Gauges and im finding that a few of them are way off...amp meter for one. Whats the general opinions on them, should i be thinking about replacements?...

FFR no longer supplies Smiths as they had to much trouble with them. The now provide Auto Meter "Smith Look a likes". I just bought a set for $475 from Finish Line. I WAS tempted to go with Smiths or SW, but am taking my best shot at reliability.

at 475 i think ill start replacing one here and there....ouch....bad enough i got to drop some bucks on a fuel pump...lol....
i do notice some odd behavior with the smiths...the speedometer is terrible....

$550 for Smiths I think it was? Or was that SW? There are cheaper ones than AutoMeter, but I wanted the right "look".
