Help, MSD and SPF wiring questions
Thanks in advance. I am trying to get started again for the Tulsa meet. I had Keith Craft rebuild the engine and switch from Mallory to MSD ignition. I also got the MSD ignition box and need some help with the switch over.
My questions are: On the black/blue (supply from ignition switch to coil per diagram), does that need to be also hooked to the + of the coil as well as the MSD wire? On the black/green, (pulse wire from coil to tach), is that needed anymore? Or does the MSD box hook directly to the tach throught the tach output and how is that wired? Who ever did this wiring on the original install, needs slapped. I hope you can help, cause I have clipped wires that have been capped, hidden, crossed....all over this car. Thanks Buzz |
