Steering wheel turns too much
I've got a slight little problem...its not huge but it's bugging me.
my steering wheel turns too much to the point where the inner ridge of my rim is rubbing my lower control arm...is there any way that I, or an alignment shop can somehow adjust the stops so that it doesn't go that far?.... thanks all |
You may have wheels with too much offset. Does the rims on both sides hit the lower control arm? When it is touching, how much room is there between the edge of the tire and the body?

yep it rubs on both wheels...as far as clearance i haven't measured but it does seem adequate all the way around...
i take it theres no way to shorten the distance of the steering rack to allow for the problem to be fixed? |
