I thank everyone for their input. I have read all your suggestuions, however a pictures worth a thousand word. Anyone has a photo of a wired spinner?

An important note not mentioned on the ERA site is that you have right and left hand threads on the tri-wings. The right side of the car has left hand threads and vise-vers.

You need to angle the wire so that the tri-wing cannot loosen. If you do it the wrong direction the nut can loosen a good ways before the wire will catch it.

Here's a picture of the passenger (right hand) side of a car (left hand threaded side).
Note the direction the wire pulls.

Here's an important tidbit learned back in school when I was learning to fix airplanes.

When you're done safety wiring, take your safety wire pliers or needlenose and bend the end of the wire underneath away from you. This will prevent you or anyone else from being injured by the sharp ends. Here's an example of what I'm mean (Hopefully it will convey the message)
