Mustang 8.8 rear axles
I have a 8.8 Rear end that I am going to use in my Cobra. It is a '94 model Mustang Limited slip with 3.08 gears. I would like to get rid of the anti lock brake rings and utilize a shorter axle for an additional inch wider rim / tire set up. I have heard of using Ranger axles to do this change. Does anyone have any insight on changing out the axles and what year Ranger axles I would need? Did the Ranger come with rear discs? Any clues would be helpful. Thanks Rich

Rich there is an FAQ on the www.ffcobra.com site dealing with the ranger axle swap for the 5 lug conversion. I would start there.
