I really need some help...

I have SPF big block (FE) car and I need to get the passenger side header off. Is there any way of doing it without having to pull the engine way up? My header is cracked and I either need to repair or replace it, but danged if I see a way of getting it out with out a complete unistall of the engine. What about just pulling the head on that side? Will that give me enough room. Any tricks would help. Nobody around here wants to try the fix with it in the car...had it to several places already.

Thanks
Buzz

It would be easier to unbolt the motor mounts and pick the engine up than remove the head.......that's a lot bigger job....and you always risk the chance of leaky gaskets when you put it back together.

Good luck...
