Bly, do you have a carburated engine? I personally like the carter. I have had alot of problems with my holley's and don't use them anymore. I switched to Carter for my carburated engines and Aeromotive for the fuel injection engines. Use some rubber between the brackets and the frame to quiet the noise. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Bly....I tossed my Holley Blue pump shortly after I took receipt of my car, new. I could even hear it when the car was idling at a stop sign! I installed a Carter 100 gph job. It's a quieter pump. Obviously it can be heard when the motor is not running however. I've seen some ads for an Edelbrock(?) pump that is supposed to be a quiet unit. I can live with my Carter. Part number P4600HP.

I'm running the Carter and it's pretty loud, but you can't hear it at all when the engine is running. :p

Thanks for all the input. The pump is for my carburated Mustang, which is substantially quieter than Cobra. Thats why I am looking for something not very loud. I have a friend that has a holley in his Challenger which is pretty quiet car, but hearing that pump making noise would drive me crazy. I just might give the Carter pump a try.

Thanks again Bly.
