Superformance Coupe Brake Booster
I have been looking for some insight into the Master Cylinder and Booster set-up in front of the driver wheel well.
I recently had the horror of having my brakes go rock hard on me as I decelerated from a Highway to a stop. I have been looking for some information on the power brakes booster for my Superformance Coupe. 1st I checked the vacuum line to make sure I had pressure - Yes pressure, No Fix 2nd I unbolted the booster from the master cylinder and noticed no O-ring, I purchased a variety of sizes and used a 1 1/4" or a 1 1/2" - No Fix 3rd I an concerned that I have to replace the booster but wanted your input before I start taking anything else apart. |
