Installing Mechanical Linkage on a B&B Cobra

Most B&B Cobra's are designed to use the late model Mustang cable linkage. I converted mine to use the period correct mechanical linkage. This is how I did mine:

The first pictures shows the Bell Crank I connected between my foot pedal and horrizontal linkage.

The second picture shows the throtle linkage anchored at my footbox and on the back of my intake (last bolt drivers side)

The third picture shows the linkage as it is connected through my turkey pan to my carb.

The fourth pictures shows how I made my foot pedal and how the rod extends through my footbox up to the bell crank.

A note for the first timers like me. I had to drill a hole through my purple arms and insert a roll pin to keep the levers (arms) from slipping on the rod.

I hope this helps someone else.

What was the source for your arms and bell crank?
