jag brakes help
just wondering if anyone knows a good setup with the jag 4pot calipers and discs, for the the master cyl etc.
was wondering if its possible to go without the booster and just run manual brakes and not have to be arnie swazzinegger to do it. im in newzealand so american parts may not be any use to me.but any suggestions on aftermarket stuff would be welcome. tilton do some good stuff, but they couldnt tell me what i needed. as with most cobra builds,i guess,we are limied by the length forward, and also by the height(pedal length) so that needs to be a consideration. i want to use overhung pedals. any help would be appreciated. cheers:confused: |
Yes, you can get by without a booster, as long as your master cylinder is sized correctly. Can't help you much more than that, as mine uses floor-mounted pedals and a separate master cylinder for the front & rear brakes with a "balance bar" connecting them to the brake pedal to adjust front & rear brake proportioning. It's a completely different setup than a top-pedal system. You might try asking the same question on the Midstates Cobra forum, as they use the system you're interested in.
