CAT connecting rods
 
Anyone know anything or have experience with CAT H-beam connecting rods? I think they come from Korea or some such place. Thus far I cannot find anything 'wrong' with them and the price is attractive.

About CAT specifically, I don't know.
From what I was told by a couple engine builders, they come from China which is where a lot of cast/forged stuff is coming from now. Crankshafts are being cast/forged in china and rough finished, then sent to the U.S. for final grinding. I've been told the same is true for the rods.

Double check the finish sizing, that seems to be the issue with some of this off shore stuff. Price is attractive as long as the fit is correct.
