Hankook ? "To Kook or Not to Kook"
Ok its getting tougher and tougher to find the 265-50-15 front tires for my West Coast, BFG discontinued the tire I planned on buying. The three choices left are the Cooper Cobra , the Dunlop GT Qual. and the Hankook. I realize the Hankook are priced lower for a reason, but the tread wear number of 400 makes me interested, as the others I just listed are rated at 440 for the tread wear. Is the Hankook worth trying or is Dunlop the way to go?

Hankook tyres
I used to run BFG T/A's on my car but when it came time for new tyres I couldn't get the size I wanted for the front in a T/A.
After looking on the net I came across the Hankook website and found the sizes and speed rating I needed and decided to give the Hankooks a go. Well that was the best thing I have ever done to the car handling wise as the car is like chalk and cheese compared to the T/A's.
